I began my previous post stating that everything Taika Waititi tocuhes is gold, and somehow with this post I got an immediate confirmation.
In the latest holiday ad for Amazon, the Oscar winning director shows how you can put a different twist on the all so well known emotional holiday ads. A little bit of his signature quirkiness, excellent music choice and a fresh story-line, just enough to make me want to share this ad to everyone I know and get in the holiday spirit 🙂
Extra points for Amazon who didn’t push the brand into the story, it’s visible but not forced, a part of the solution, but not the main hero, and it works 🙂
