I love these seemingly small activities that grow into great campaigns. Paying respect to the retirement of one of the best tennis players Roger Federer, the Swiss telecom Sunrise created a very creative tribute.

The only thing they did is changed the name of their network to “Thanks Roger”, but that was enough to go viral. A simple, yet very effective move knowing that Sunrise is the largest private telecom company in Switzerland which means thousands of users will wake up with this novelty on their phone.

There are many amazing examples of brands thanking great athletes, like the one recently created by Nike for Serena Williams

but somehow this small gesture by Sunrise has managed to go around the world just because of its creativity. Sometimes 0 dollar ideas can really work 🙂
